All of us at Classic Country 1290 WIRL are like Martha Stewart... We like a "Good Thing".  Last fall we introduced you to Campbell's "Help Grow Your Soup" Campaign where Campbell's Soup Company partnered with the National FFA Organization to promote the "roots" of Agriculture.  Last fall they donated $250,000 to the National FFA Organization and partnered with them to restore iconic red barns across the Midwest.  This Spring, Campbell's, the National FFA Organization and Urban Farming, Inc are partnering to really grow your soup.  Click here to find out how you can Help Grow Your Soup... ACRE Program Sign-Up Deadline Extended

Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack announced that USDA has extended the sign-up deadline from June 1, to Aug. 14, 2009, for both the Direct and Counter-cyclical Program (DCP) and the forthcoming Average Crop Revenue Election (ACRE) Program. This action extends the sign-up deadline by 10 weeks to give producers ample time to decide whether to participate in ACRE or remain in DCP.
